At this property in Frome, we replaced a damaged shower tray and flooring, which had damaged the floor joists.
Our team carried out the following services:
- Installation of a new concealed shower valve
- Bracing and overboarding of the floor joists
- Wallboarding with Wedi
- Tiling and grouting
- Fitting a new shower screen
- Installing QuickStep Carrera Marble LVT flooring.
The customer chose to keep the existing bathroom fixtures and tiles.
system upgrades
An old and leaking Ariston hot water cylinder was removed from a property due to a split coil fault.
This fault was allowing water to pass from the cylinder into the central heating circuit, resulting in increased system pressure and the risk of long-term damage.
To rectify the issue, we installed a high-quality Joule Cyclone 210L indirect unvented cylinder. This modern upgrade enhances the system’s efficiency, provides improved hot water performance, and ensures reliable operation for years to come.

An old Glow-worm boiler with a long history of leaks was finally replaced during a kitchen renovation after years of being carefully maintained.
